Top six thrillers in the game of tennis

The tennis fans all around the world have experienced some of the most exciting Grand Slam matches since the start of the twenty first century. Early round upsets are very common however it is exceptional to watch final round thrillers. The matches given below were such a high quality display of exciting tennis that people still remember their overwhelming impact.

1. Wimbledon Final match in season 2005 between Venus Williams versus Lindsay Davenport:
  The score line of the final Wimbledon contest was 4-6 7-6 9-7 that set a total of four records. It was first of all the lengthiest Wimbledon final at the All England Club, lengthiest third set with Venus the first player to assemble from match point down in a period of about seventy years, the least favourite one to succeed in the final.  It was basically termed as the titanic crusade. This game couldn't be better. It featured phenomenal rallies, serves, swings, comebacks along with the entire environment which was simply improbable.

3. The United States Open Championship in the season 2003, Semi-final match between Justine Henin and Jennifer Capriati:

Justine Henin during this thrilling match was on ten occasion’s just two points away from losing the game. In one of the United States Open's most exciting contests, Henin at last came from behind to knock down Jennifer  4-6 7-5 7-6 and snatched the victory in the end. The fans sitting in the crowd were simply astonished of the world class quality. The tennis lovers never experienced a better clash than this one beyond any doubt.

4. United States Open Championship in the season 2000, Semi-final match between Venus Williams and Martina Hingis:
With every single shot, you could hear the spectators calling the player's name. Both the players were solid hitters and contributed in adding another classic match in the history of world tennis.
