Top ten games of Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett in 2010-11 NBA season - Part 1
Kevin Garnett is a professional basketball player and is currently the power forward of the National Basketball Association’s Boston Celtics. His nick-names include "The Big Ticket", "KG", and “Da Kid".
After completing high school, he skipped college and went for the National Basketball Association Draft. Kevin was the fifth overall pick in the 1995 Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was the first player in 20 years who was selected directly out of
high school. Garnett led the Wolves to eight uninterrupted play-off appearances. In 2004 he was among the nominees of the Most Valuable Player in 2003-04 NBA season since he led the Wolves to the Western Conference Finals.
Except his first season, Garnett has always been chosen for every All-Star game. He has won the 2003 MVP award and in 2007-08 he was named the NBA Defensive Player of the year. Kevin was selected nine times to the All-NBA Teams and has remained a member
of the All-Defensive Team ten times. Garnett’s dominance has provided the Celtics with a solid defensive back-court, restricting most teams from scoring in triple digits.
Garnett has won a gold medal with the USA Men's National Basketball Team in the 2000 Summer Olympics. As a result of a chartbuster deal, Garnett went to the Boston Celtics after spending 12 seasons with the Wolves. He aided the Celtics to win their first
NBA Championship since 1986. His contribution to the Celtics has brought the team back into the lime-light and on course for the NBA play-offs.
During the 2010-11 NBA season Garnett contributed with an average of 14.9 points per game, while his career average is far better at 19.5 PPG. However, he possesses a very healthy rebound average of 8.9 during this season. He is considered to be one of the
most dominating power forwards in the NBA. Here are his top ten games during the 2010-11 NBA season.
