Top ten games of Portland Trail Blazers’ LaMarcus Aldridge in the 2010-11 NBA season - Part 1

game. Here are the highlights of his top ten performances in 2010-11 National Basketball Association season.
Portland Trail Blazers 100 - Detroit Pistons 78
On 9 November, 2010, the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Detroit Pistons, 100-78. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Trail Blazers’ attack, as he gave Portland their largest victory of the season by a margin of 22 points. He tallied 19 points and 17 boards, but
fell one short of his career-high for his rebounds. The Rose Garden crowd gave a standing ovation to the veteran player on his excellent performance, as he left the field for good with more than six minutes remaining in the game.
Dallas Mavericks 103 - Portland Trail Blazers 98
Dirk Nowitzki and Caron Butler lifted the Dallas Mavericks over the Trail Blazers in a 103-98 victory on 15 December, 2010. The Mavericks hosted the game at the American Airlines Centre.
Though the Blazers lost the game, but it was Aldridge who made the game competitive down the stretch. He made eight out of 10 shots and clutched six boards in the fourth quarter that trimmed the lead down. Aldridge scored 35 points and 10 rebounds in the
entire game.
Portland Trail Blazers 113 - Minnesota Timberwolves 102
It is said that Aldridge and the Trail Blazers make a substantial impact when they play against the Minnesota Timberwolves. On 17 January, 2011, LaMarcus beat his previous career-high with 37 points, as the Trail Blazers registered their 15th
successive win over the Timberwolves, pounding Minnesota 113-102 at the Rose Garden.
Aldridge made 15 of his 24 shots and clutched 12 boards in the win over Minnesota. Prior to this season, Aldridge equaled his previous career-high of 36 points when the Blazers defeated the Wolves on 17 December, 2010.
Portland Trail Blazers 97 - Indiana Pacers 92
The Trail Blazers made a late rally in the final quarter of the game, as they were trailing by as many as 16 points on 22 January, 2011. The Blazers went on winning the game by five points 97-92. Once again Aldridge gave them the boost at the right time.
It was Aldridge who shot 16-foot jumper from the baseline to put his team closer at 66-62 and put the leash on the shooting guns of the Pacers, as they went cold after the shot.
Aldridge remained the top contributor for the Blazers. He counted 25 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal.
Portland Trail Blazers 99 - San Antonio Spurs 86
Aldridge marshaled the Trail Blazers in a 99-86 victory over the NBA’s leading team the San Antonio Spurs at the Rose Garden, Portland on 1 February, 2011. Aldridge topped the pack with his career-high 40 points including 11 rebounds and gave San Antonio
their eighth loss of the season.
After the game, when LaMarcus was leaving the court, San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich stretched out to shake his hand.
