I love Cape May!.  I'd live almost anywhere there.

OH!  I know this one!  I lived on the island for years, and really enjoyed it.  It gets annoying after a while because it's a bit like living in Disney Land with all the vacationers.  I moved about 10 miles up the road to Cape May Court House and LOVE it.  20 minutes to Cape May beaches, 10 minutes to Stone Harbor Beaches, and a cute center of town.  My top picks...

10.Wildwood.  Nicer condos, no matter how expensive, it's still Wildwood.

9. Stone Harbor / Avalon.   HIGH prices, nice homes, great beaches, not a good year round community.

8.Villas.  Cheapest housing, medium year rounders, some crappy neihbors.

7.Townbank / North Cape May.  Medium priced housing, medium year rounders, nice bay beaches.

6.Cape May.  Great place to visit, great beaches, not easy to live there year round.

5. Clermont.  Up the road a bit, nice homes, upscale residential and mostly year round.

4.Upper Twp.  Rural, off the beaten path, still nice

3.Dennisville.  Still rural, medium to high priced homes.  30-35 minutes to Cape May.

2.Reeds beach, or Peirces Point.  Very cool villages on the bay.  Prices are rising.

1.CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE.  Centrally located, near the hospital, minutes to beaches and shopping.  Moderately priced housing, good school system.
