Top three boy’s and girl’s teams of the Joola Austrian Junior and Cadet Open – Table Tennis Update
The Joola Austrian Junior and Cadet Open of the eighth International Table Tennis Federation Junior Circuit Championship will begin on 18 April at Linz, Austria.
Antoine Hachard, Alexandre Robinot and Enzo Angles from France are the top seeded players of this event.
The French players will try to improve their performance and will try to move a step further in the championship to win the title. At the last Hungarian Open they faced defeat against the team comprising of Hung Tzu-Hsiang and Hsu Chia-Liang from Taipei
along with the Brazilian player Hugo Calderano.
The young players from Taipei remained unbeaten at the last Junior event. The Hungarian team was on the second seed but was defeated at the quarter-finals. The Croatian team that was present at the Hungarian open will once again be seen in action at Linz.
Tamas Lakatos, Marton Szita, Nam Do Phuong and Domonkos Kovacs will be competing for improved results.

The Hungarian Squad will feature Franjo Marela instead of Miho Simovic along with Filip Cipin and Luka Fucec. They are on the third seed in the upcoming tournament. The fourth seed is made up of the team from the Czech Republic.
The team will be the same except one change in that Michal Lebeda will be replaced by Denis Benes. Ondrej Bajger, Michal Benes and Jakub Seibert will be once again seen in action. At the Hungarian Open the team faced defeat at the quarter-final stage in
a close match of three-two against the team from Romania.
The Romanian team of Lucian Munteanu, Daniel Dan and Szilard Kanabe lost against the French team with a match score of three-nil.

On the girl’s side, the top seed is occupied by the Polish team who were the winner of the girl’s team event at the last Junior event. The team will comprise the same names except Katarzyna Nowocin is replaced by Sandra Wabik. Rest Klaudia Kusinska, Katarzyna
Slifirczyk and Maja Krzewicka will be once again competing to defend their title.

The second seed is occupied by the Serbian team featuring the two key players from the Czech Junior and Cadet Open held at Hodonin. Dijana Holok and Ana Lupulesku will be joined by Eva Tot, as there will be Aliz Durcik and Aleksandra Radonjic on the team.

In the third seed there is the Junior girls’ team from Portugal. The team of Maria Xiao, Catia Martins and Mariana Goncalves were last seen in action at the girl’s team event of the Italian Open held at Lignano in the first week of March. The team reached the
semi-final of the event but did not make it to the finals.
