  1. Listen well and remember what others have said.

    Don't interrupt.

    Smile in agreement.

    Keep eye contact.

    Don't touch or tap on the other person to get their attention.  

    Don't hog the conversation. Allow others the chance to speak.

    don't "one up" everything they say with a story of your own that is better, funnier, etc.

    say things like "that sounds nice", etc.

    be sincere

    don't dwell on the negative (e.g. debbie downer)

  3. Smile gently and nod your head in the right places keeping eye contact.

    Keep your body tall and facing towards the other person.

    When listening, pause before giving an answer and quickly glance upwards before replying, as it reinforces the image that you are listening and then thinking about it- therefore have your concentration on the other person.

    Do not cross your arms.

  5. 1. learn to be a good listener...don't interupt, don't try to think of what to say when someone else is talking...instead truly listen to what they are saying.

    2.  If you can't honestly say, "I really like what you have done with this project", maybe you can say, "I am proud of the effort you have put into this project, your concept is one I would never have come up with, Congratulations".

    3.  Thank you,  that is a painting I am particularily proud of,  I am sorry you don'f feel you can paint; but, each of us have different talents, what are some of yours?  Maybe we can each help the other.

  7. I think thats something you can develop yourself, don't ever feel under pressure to be someone your not, be yourself.
