Topamax side effects and kidneys?

i've been on topamax for a month and two weeks now and its been great for me the only side effect i've noticed so far is the numbniss and prickling fealing i get sometimes in my hands but it doesnt bother me that much. i take it for both migraines and seizures and so far its the ONLY medication thats been working for me.. in the last four days i've been getting sharp pains in my kidneys i went to the ER yesterday but all the gave me was an IV and said i was Constipated and sent me on my way. today its like the pain is just worse my kidneys are just throbbing and i dont wanna go back to the ER coz they're not really gonna do anything for me the earliest i can see an internest is on monday.. my question is has anyone went through this on topamax? could this possobly be kidney stones??

i dont think it has to do with the topamax. if ur kidneys hurt you might have kidney disease or kidney failure of the rocks! but go to www.webmd.com push start now and follow the instructions and put it ur symptoms. .. :) and if it gets worser just go to the ER they will have to help you dont leave till they do sometimes doctors are stupid.
