I didn't know that and that makes me sad but *if* it's true, maybe it's because both Ashton Kutcher and Wilbur became the break-out stars of the show.  

It would upset me too if I were him.  

He *was* supposed to be the star of the show, and to me, he was.

i heard that too. i'm not sure why but it really sucked when he left. The show just went downhill from there.
