Topic for mechanical engineering?

can someone give me a specific or sample topic for mechanical engineering thesis? this regards a device that can be fabricated here in the philippines

Tough question. Hard to give you a specific topic since mechanical engineering is a very vast extensive study. If I might suggest, I think you should look around you and identify what technical problems are there in your place that probably needs a mechanical design solution. I don't think it would be too hard since you are in the phillipines ( a developing country). You just have to be more observant of your surroundings.

P.S: I might suggest designing a machine that can rapidly make surf boards. South East Asia is off course one of the best places to surf you know. LOL
