  1. When I taught Kindergarten we always ate our colors. Red was watermelon and blue was blueberries. For art you could cut a red apple in half and let them dip the apple half in red paint and stamp it several times to make a picture. For blue do a water picture. They can use crayons to draw seaweed, or whatever, then use a thin blue poster paint over the whole picture to make a crayon resist ocean. Top it off by gluing some pre-cut fish on top. Be sure to wear the colors, and ask the parents to dress the children in the colors too.

  2. Depending on when you start here are a few ideas.

    making Blue/Red pictures;

    Blue milk bottle tops/pepsi bottle tops, ribbon/fabric,

    Red, cola bottles tops, stickers, buttons (craft ones are big enough),

    Cut out pictures from magazines or old catalogues to add to the collages.

    Use food colouring to colour plain noodles or spaghetti.  Kids love playing with it in a large bowl as it's squishy.

    Make flowers in red and blue from tissue paper.

    Look at foods such as red apples/strawberries etc and Blueberries, maybe make a smoothie.

    How about doing alternative pictures, do colouring in with only blue and red to see what the world would look like.

  3. Take them outside to look at red and blue flowers.
