My dad and mom are divorced. My dad lives in minnesota while my mom lives in texas. I live with my dad and stepmom. i absolutely hate them! they use me and steal from me to the point where im actually trying to hurt them (mentally). i love my mom to death and living with her is much better. the only thing keeping me with my dad is my friends here. i have made so many wonderful friends here and i want to stay with them. so its either hate home/love school, or love home/hate school. i dont know what to do.

  1. my parents are divorced. i actually travel back and forth but my parents don't live that far away. after reading your situation, i would say you should go live with your mom. you can always make new friends. but stay in touch with your other friends and visit them as often as you can. good luck!!

  2. Go with your mom if your life at home is that miserable. If you're a like able fellow you'll be fine and make new friends in no time. Just be sure to keep in touch with your old friends

  3. Try living with dad during the school year and hanging with mom during the summer and other school vacations. putting up with dad and stepmom issues will have less stress if you have something to look forward to. When youre with mom keep in touch w/ friends via email & web cam, texting & phone calls, or even invite a couple to hang with you during the summer while youre with your mom.

  4. Friends come and go Family is there forever. Living with them is a bad problem. You will still have to visit your dad in the summer and some holidays. Visit your friends then.

    I live in texas =]

But your friends should understand your problem.

You can talk on the phone with them all night.!

  5. You need to get yourself out of the abusive situation at home.  You can still stay in contact with your friends (myspace, e-mail, phone, etc.) and maybe even visit on vacations and in the summer.

You'll make new friends at the new school, and after a few months you'll be perfectly adjusted and happy you made the switch.

  6. torn between 2 homes and need advice?

answer= i read your sad story, life is not meant to be torn between 2 homes, your letter says you love your mom to death,my advice is go and live with your mom,and be in peace and happy.

you can always make new friends there, phone your old friends,or send them e-mails.

               good luck,take care,god bless.

  7. Have you ever lived with your mom in Texas?  Maybe you will make friends there too.  I think that you need to at least try.  Another option would be to live at a friends house.  I guess that depends on your age but if you are over 15 it may be a possibility.  Good luck.

  8. i think you should go to your mom. you can still keep in touch with your old mates. it is tough to make new friends (believe me i know) but you might meet new amazing people even if its a place you dont expect to meet them. but you should listen to yourself. if you can bare your dad until you graduate then stay but you shouldnt decide inmmediately. let it simmer for a while

  9. your home is where you need to have the most peace.  having a dysfunctional sitation at home will definitely impact your future.  you can always make new friends.  plus, friends don't stay friends forever.  you can still keep in touch and visit them when you visit your father.  you may end up having even better friends in TX.  you may just love school there just as much or even better.  i know its  hard to start over, but even harder to start later.  meaning, if you stay with your father, things will get worse or you may do something you regret and end up being mad at yourself for not moving in with your mother.  think about what is best for you in the long run.  good luck

  10. i say go live with your mom you can always make new friends and you can stay in touch with your friends in minnesota by emailing them or texting them so go live with someone that loves you.
