the people who go around after a tornado or hurricane and help the injured and yehh, i need to know really quickly as im writing a story. also do tornados have names?

  1. Relief workers (or disaster relief teams), and no, tornadoes are not named, though sometimes they can be referred by where they struck.

Do you mean the local CERT Group?  (Community Emergency Response Team).  A local CERT are made up of volunteers from the local neighborhood.  Since the live in the local community, if an tornado strikes, they will likely be part of the first responder group.  However, not every community has a CERT group.  They are all fully trained in basic first aid.
