Tornado warning flashing on TV. There is no noise though.... what does that mean?

Where are you? (state I mean)  If you hear/see tornado warning, get to your safe spot (basement, interior bathroom) now and ask questions later. Turn on your local radio also (should be kept in your "safe spot" at all times!!).

Take shelter is what I would do.  A warning means one has been spotted from the ground, or radar has indicated one.  Don't take the warning lightly.
