Tornadoes in california?

okay, well im still scared.

the clouds are black behind us, but they arent poofy.

the wind is starting to blow.

im just wondering, but what does it look like where you live??

and how long will this cell last?

cuz im so scared right now im shaking.

i hate tornadoes.

Sunny and dry,  with temps in the 80s.

Don't stay scared, get prepared! Knowing what to do in case you are in the line of a tornado is the best defense. Many people survive when their houses are torn off the foundation because there knew where to go in the house.  I am no expert but basements, closets and even bathtubs are safe havens. Of course, you safest spot would be an underground shelter specifically made for tornadoes. Ask in your area, if there is such a place (s).  knowledge and education are your best defense. Tornadoes are still a mystery even to the most astute researchers as many times there is no rhyme or reason to their erratic, fierce and destructive behavior.
