i saw on news that there was a tornado near grand canyon today and im wondering how oftnely it saud 3 times a year max im wodner is it F1 tornado F2 F3 etc soo which F is it thank you very much please answer

  1. Small tornadoes are not typically assigned an F rating (Fujita Tornado Damage Scale) because they don't last long enough to be fully observed.  Also if there is little or no observable damage then the event does not even get rated.
