Toro Rosso expected to launch their 2011 car at Valencia

Red Bull Racing Team’s sister team Red Bull Toro Rosso recently revealed that they will launch their new car at the first test session that is expected to take place in Valencia this February.
Toro Rosso was not one of the best teams on the grid this season and it seems that the team has to do a lot of work in order to secure some good points and maybe challenge the established teams in the sport.
Toro Rosso finished in 9th place this season in the constructors’ standings after scoring the least points amongst the point scoring teams. The three new teams Lotus, Virgin and HRT finished bellow Toro Rosso as each of them was unable to secure
a single point this season.
However, Toro Rosso has been a part of Formula 1 since 2006 and this is the same team that introduced Sebastian Vettel to the sport. Toro Rosso has definitely made its mark in the sport and it seems that they have the potential to progress.
The team will introduce their 2011 car which is called the STR6 at 9 am on the 1st of February and once again, the team is going to use Ferrari’s V8 engines. The car has been designed separately from its parent team Red Bull’s car but the car
obviously holds some features of RB6.
Other than that, Toro Rosso is yet to announce its two drivers for the 2011 Formula 1 season officially, and it would be interesting to see what the team has in mind about its two present drivers Jaime Alguersuari and Sebastien Buemi.
According to some reports, both of the Toro Rosso drivers are expected to maintain their seats for another year with Daniel Ricciardo as their reserve driver.
Sebastian Buemi finished in 16th place with 8 points while his teammate Jaime Alguersuari finished in 19th place with just 5 points.
