Toro Rosso hopes to do better at the Hungarian GP 2010
The cars are getting ready once again, the drivers are psyching themselves up and teams are making plans and strategies as the Formula One rally hurries towards its next destination in Hungary. Without any delay, the racing caravan is preparing for the Hungarian GP on Sunday right after a cold and wet weekend in Germany.
The series is about to unveil the twelfth race of the 2010 season after experiencing  the thrills and spills all through the season as well as presenting tremendous technical advancements.
As all the teams head towards their next rendezvous for this weekend, Formula One’s official website talked to the Italian team Toro Rosso about their opinion as well as strategy for the upcoming race, and here is what they had to say:
Sebastien Buemi:
Last year’s Hungarian GP was started by Buemi from the eleventh place on the grid who ended at the sixteenth place when it ended. As he heads for this year’s race, the driver expressed his views by saying that the circuit is a very unusual one just like Monaco, only with the exception that it does not run inside the town.
Furthermore, he told that the track offers a lot of down force and rarely does one need to move at maximum speed as there are many tricky and twisty corners and hardly any long straights. He excitedly added that the circuit offers a real buzz as the atmosphere is always electrifying over there. The driver added that the Hungarian Grand Prix had been able to magnetise big crowds every year and their cheers plus support for their favourite drivers is always motivational.
Moreover, he added that the city of Budapest is one of the most fantastic cities he had ever seen. Sebastien explained that he had always enjoyed driving there despite the fact that the track surface is extremely bumpy which demands a lot of mental and well as physical strength.
However, he concluded that it is a challenge as well as fun to race there; fun because it is a one of a kind track which is challenging because racing is a bit difficult there for it offers no long straights and constantly keeps turning to the left, right, left and then right all over again with a long series of corners.
Jaime Alguersuari:
The other Red Bull driver, who stood at the fifteenth place last year after having started the race from twentieth place, told that the Hungarian GP in 2009 was his debut in Formula One. He was much excited for being able to finish the race as he remembers it to be the toughest thing he had ever done.
Jaime Alguersuari added that all that he remembers from that race was fun and thrill that he experienced back then. The driver explained that back then, he was not concerned about the lap times or his position; he would only concentrate on his driving. He cannot forget that he kept coming to the corners one after the other so rapidly that he hardly had time to catch his breath.
His biggest excitement is that with this race, he completes a whole circle around the globe of Formula One racing and from now onwards, none of the tracks would be new for him, except for the South Korean GP which is going to hold its debut race this year. He anticipates of having better seasons from now onwards.
At the moment, both the Toro Rosso drivers stand at the fifteenth and sixteenth places respectively with having bagged only seven and three points. The team has hardly been able to hold the ninth place so far with a total of ten points under their belt.
