What was the reason for the airport closure about 7 or 8 years ago

Was it some sort of virus ???

It was probably the travel advisory 5yrs ago from the SARS epidemic in Toronto which began after an elderly female traveler returned from Hong Kong feeling ill after coming in contact with a single Chinese physician who is believed to have set off the spread of the disease.

Canadian officials were outraged when the WHO advised April 23 against nonessential travel to Toronto,The advisory caused an immediate drop in the number of tourists to Toronto.

I think it was the same as the Chinese thing going on with gasses.

Yes I believe it was the 2003  SARS outbreak.  Fortunately not a common occurence
