On Friday night, the Blue Jays played terrifically against the Red Sox and earned a great victory.
They never let their opponents to take control of the game instead kept them under pressure and eventually defeated them in the end.
The entire Blue Jays roster played wonderfully and never allowed the Red Sox to play aggressive. Especially hitters played certainly well and made the Red Sox’s realise that how ordinary their pitching was.

"If you have good fastball command, you just keep rolling with it, If you're getting the ball put on the ground soft balls in the air, why change what's working? That's one thing that's big for me, if a guy hasn't beat me yet on what I've been getting him out with, I'm going to keep throwing the same thing until he beats me," said Laffey on his particular outing which proved wonderful for his team.
Later Blue Jays manager John Farrell said of his starter, "He was using a successful recipe, There were a lot of strikes, got ahead on the count and got a lot of groundballs."
On the other hand, the Red Sox did not show any fighting spirit and lost in the end.
Starter Josh Beckett pitched six innings and gave five runs on seven hits. He also gave four earned runs as his ERA rose to 4.53.
