Toronto Blue Jays secure comfortable 12-4 win against Boston Red Sox - MLB Update
Toronto Blue Jays showed the stuff they are capable of as they secured a comfortable 12-4 win against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 12 in the finale of their three match series of the 2013 Major League Baseball
regular season. With their win, the Blue Jays improved their record to 15-24 and it will be interesting to see if they can continue their winning streak to have any chance of making it to the playoffs.
"You get three or four runs ahead," Bautista said, "that's when some guys come out and are able to take some big hacks and we get the types of results we got today."
"He'll get on his rolls," Toronto manager John Gibbons said. "When it's all said and done, he's going to have a great year for us. Maybe this is the start of something? We'll find out."

"Last night we got clutch hits, and then today they were just pounding balls left and
right, and that was awesome to watch."
Despite having the home conditions working in their favour, the Red Sox were unable to find the winning ways. Just like the Blue Jays, the Red Sox have also struggled to find consistency in their results since the start of the season. The Red Sox showed
great fighting abilities in 2012 but they are showing no signs of improvement this season. Blue Jays were outclassed in the opener but they did not lose hope and fought back superbly in Game 2 to keep the series alive. Another win in the finale handed them
a memorable series victory against the Red Sox.
Starting pitcher Chad Jenkins pitched with great control and accuracy in a high scoring contest. Overall he allowed just seven hits and two runs against the inform Red Sox’s batting lineup to claim his first win of the season. Relief pitchers Steve Delabar
and Brett Cecil also made useful contributions to help their side hold on to a big lead.
