Toronto Bound Help!!!!????

Question

So im done school now, and im currently living in Nova Scotia and im not having much luck finding a job so i think im heading to T.O!!! I have lots of family in Ontario, my bestfriend lives in T.O and i lived in Ontario when i was in highscool.

So does anyone have any advise for me?

-Job hunting? (i have to have a job first, cant get an apt without one)

-Apt where to look for one, what areas to avoid

-i hear its totally a dog friendly city! You can even bring your dog on the subway!! And they cant refuse you an apt cause your pet....here in NS they can and its so madening!

-Cost of living...average apt price, whats realistic in an apt in T.O

-ill hear anything you have to say...i just really need to find a job first....anyone have any good T.O websites for jobs?? My profession is "Human Resource Management"

job hunting-well most companies will want to see you for an interview so you'd have to move here before you start looking. You'll probably have to give first and last rent upfront.

There is lots of pet friendly buildings,yes,but there are also ones that don't allow pets. You can pretty much take your dog everywhere in this city :)

Bachelor's are usually around $1,000,i'm not talking about downtown Toronto,but still close to subway which means close to the city:)

also,if you wanna live and work in the city i wouldn't bother with a car,parking spots(if you find any:) ) are rather expensive and there are always traffic jams. I use ttc all the time,pass for the whole month(metropass) is $109 and u can use it on subway,buses and streetcars.

Try monster.ca or workopolis.ca for jobs.

if you get to toronto and start looking for a job,you could probably try some employment agency.
