Going to downtown Toronto for 2 days. Where can I park my car and leave it there for a day and half? I'm staying at the Sheraton but there parking rates are $33 a day.

  1. There is underground parking at Mel Lastman Square which is right across from the Sheraton.

Not 100% sure of the rates but they are definetly not $33.00

    Good Luck!

  2. At Bay and Queen that is pretty much the going rate.  It is very expensive to park downtown and $33 for an entire day actually sounds pretty reasonable to me.

  3. Near bay and Queen?  That is he heart of the financial district...   $33 per day is very reasonable.

It will actually cost that to park at Nathan Philips Square as well (across the street) and slightly more to part at the opera house, or Eaton's center)

Here is link to the Toronto Parking Authority.  Not all lots will allow you to just park for several days.. however you can look up rates as well as duration of stay

Mel Lastman Square is NOT right across the street. It is at 5000 Young Street, in NORTH  YORK. Which is north of the 401 highway.

What you meant to say was ............. There is  a public parking  garage , UNDER Nathan Phillips Square, which is in front of Toronto City hall at Queen and Bay streets.

If you are going to give advice, make sure you have it right, first , OK ?

For the original ASKER.......................... there is a underground walk way that connects the hotel to the city parking garage that leads under Queen street . Look for the "Green P parking signs " that indicate all City of Toronto paking lots and garages. The parking garage is open 24 hours a day.
