Why is the intersection of bay and wellesley so windy

  1. how can an intersection be windy?


  2. It is because the tall buildings create a wind tunnel.  I use to work there 20 years ago and I remember the horrible wind in the winter.

  3. Because of the high rise buildings around it.  It creates a wind tunnel effect.

    SOUTH OF BAY & BLOOR

    EAST OF  QUEENS PARK CIRCLE

    AND WEST OF WELSELLY SUB WAY
