It was demolished in mid-80's and was located somewhere North of Front St. So what is over top of it right now?? Where exactly is it. Note: It is not the Roundhouse in front of the Rogers Center.

  1. The former rail yard you refer to (it's actually referred to as the "coach yard", because it used to hold the passenger equipment), is currently occupied by the SkyDome.

CN built the CN Tower adjacent to the yard, but as they slowly got rid of the yard and passenger service was handed to VIA, they sold the land where the yard used to be, and in the late 80's, the SkyDome was built.

  2. Roy Thompson Hall had just been built. Across the street was the Royal Alexandra

  3. I agree with Conductor Budgie, Spadina Yard was where the coach yard was. I worked for a few months out of the Bathurst street yard as Yardman and Switchtender under the Bathurst street bridge in the early 1960s.
