Toronto area: Where can I find one of those "packable/foldable" windbreakers?

I'm looking for a womens rain jacket ... like those that fold away into a little packet or bag. Can't find a pic at the moment to describe it, but hopefully you'll know what I'm talking about.

Suggestions would be great. I've checked with a few places in my area, but they seem not to carry them.

Thanks!

  1. Honest Ed's on Bloor W....they seem to have everything else!

  2. Try places that sell travel stuff. Can't remember any names but there's a chain of luggage stores, often in the malls, that sells a variety of gadgets and whatnots for travel. The Automobile Association stores usually do too. Outdoor stores could have them. Or just get a thin wind and/or waterproof jacket, cheap or expensive, and stuff it into a ziploc bag. That's what I do.

  3. There is a place on Avenue Road, was just north of Davenport Rd acrossed from the Audi dealership, Tilley Endureables, they sell a whole line of natural cotton and micro-fiber clothing for travel, camping and outdoor wear.

By there website at the link they have moved, the bigger store on Don Mills Rd is up near Lawrence or Sheppard, the easiest one to find would be the downtown at the Queen Quay Terminal on the QQ, right there 2 blk west of Bay and the Harbour Castle Westin Hotel.
