Toronto for 5 days, any suggestions?

Im heading up there with my boyfriend and we're planning to do a day trip to Niagara Falls. We're not really into museums just want to see the sights and have a good time any suggestions? we were thinking of doing one of the hop on hop off tours

The Toronto Islands are my favourite part of the city.  Take a ferry there,  rent some bikes and explore.  Have lunch at the Rectory Cafe ( http://rectorycafe.com ).
