The number ten (10) is an honoured number by the Toronto Maple Leafs. The number is honoured because of two former captains and Hall of Famers. George (Chief) Armstrong and Syl Apps. Both players exemplified the wearing of the "C" for Toronto for being fine hockey players but more important for being outstanding citizens.
