Toronto restaurant recommendation?

My husband and I are taking a weekend trip to Toronto. We are in our late 20's and go a few times per year. Where should we go for dinner that we can get out under $100? We're looking for a cool atmosphere.

PS-The last time I posted this question, someone recommended Hard Rock and Kelsey's. That is NOT what I'm asking ;)

  1. I am a former chef and if your in town on occasion why not try some our different ethnic places, maybe one your not familiar with from your city, most are reasonably prices, the food is great and you have experienced something that is maybe not usual for your town.

For me recommending places I would say the Queen of Sheba (Ethiopian) on Bloor west of Dufferin St and subway station, on Bloor near Christie there is a load of Korean places, Korea House is my favorite, even further up there are some nice Hungarian restaurants, they serve big portions and if your into Greek food then Danforth Av is your place, they have outdoor patios and some even have the whole lambs rotating on a spit in the windows.

For what your looking for any of those are well with in your budget and are great this time of year s there either outdoors or air conditioned.

  2. Hooters..........Just kidding.

    5th Elementt

    Keating Channel Pub & Grill

    Thirty Five Elm

Wayne Gretzky's is only cool if you like hockey.
