Question:

Torontonians: If there is a ttc strike?

I live in Toronto as well (North York) and I want to ask. If you rely on ttc like me and there is a TTC strike tomorrow...

What alternative ways will you use to get to school/work tomorrow?

I'm kind of torn between 3 options...take a cab though very expensive...walk but my school is about an hour walk from here or to stay home.

I do not drive as I don't have that type of money for insurance, gas, etc.

What other ways can I get to school? I'd rather not miss school if at all possible. Staying home is the very last resort.

  1. i would walk to skool....

u know i lost my metropass once, and i was kinda broke so i walk to skool everyday which is like one and a half hour from where i live for the whole month.....

(but if that day i have a test then i'll skip~~^^)

p.s. don't ever take taxi.... they'r to expensive and once i got on a taxi and the driver was sooooo creepy.....

  2. Good news is that the strike was averted.

But if you're still interested, depending on where you live in North York, you can take the GO train (or bus) to where you need to go.

Another alternative is to bike, since the weather is actually nice now.

Another alternative is to car pool if you know someone in the area who goes to the same school as you.

  3. sorry i think there srike i'm staying home i have no choice

  4. I would have walked to the locations close to me.

But don't worry about it, because they've reached a tentative deal ;)................ thank GOD. The city woulda been a mess.

It's amazing the things we take for granted.

  5. no strike on monday
