Ok, does this projector have good resolution? How big can the screen get? What is a lumen, and how good are they on this projector? Biggest question!: does it have a remote that comes with it? is it easy to install? If i hang it upside down on my ceiling, is there a way that it will like flip around and come up straight? is it easy to set the resolution and stuff like that? What is everything that comes in the box? like cords....etc... And one more big question: Can it hook up to a computer? does it come with the cord to hook up to the computer? does it heat up too much? is it loud? is it hard to see with the light on/off? please answer all of these questions...please....please...please......

  1. The Torpedo projector is just sad.  It's not even considered standard definition.  With a 240p video resolution, you are going to get video equivalent to a streaming YouTube video.  Standard definition is 480p and high definition is 720p.

If it is a cheap solution for your kids to play games and watch movies, then not a bad investment for $200.  If it is for an adult to watch movies, play games and TV, then you need to invest in $500+ projector.  For serious home theater consumers, you want to spend over $1000 for a projector.

You want a projector that is native 720p and 1500-2000 lumens.  The fact that this projector is designed for kids and uses a 35 watt standard bulb is just very sad.  No computer connection.  Strictly video inputs.  I don't think it comes with a remote.  I think all controls are on the projector.  Easy to setup.  Just put it on the floor or table.  With a 35W bulb, it would get warm, but not hot.  Your household lamps have a 60 or 70 watt bulb.

Yes, it would be hard to see without the lights off.  Bottom line, spend a little more money and you will be happier.

  2. Can't answer most of the questions since little info on the web.

However, the resolution is 240 x 960 (???) ... not good enough for anything but a small screen and even then the picture will be pretty blocky. I suspect video processing is poor and colour accuracy sub-optimal.

I'd only consider for small kids.

A lumen is a unit of brightness for light. One (1) lumen is about the light from one candle. Most projectors are rated 1000 lumens or more, although when adjusted for good colour they frequently drop to 300-400 lumens.
