Torrent Download Speed w/ UTorrent- Isn't over 550 kb's/s pretty friggin' fast?

I don't know that much about torrent download speeds, but isn't over 500 kb/s pretty good? Thanks!

Yeah, that ain't bad at all.

550kb/sec=68.75 kB/sec

If someone told you that's a bad speed, then chances are, they were just trying brag about their high-end ftth connection or something. For ADSL or cable, especially in the United States, that's a good speed.

it depends on how many seeds you have but ive known utorrent to be the fastest every-time also if you download torrents you may want to get this: http://www.download.com/PeerGuardian/300...

Yes it's gonna be freakingly fast. Mine is at average 10kb/s = freakingly slow! The top was at 15kb/s.

There's a article about it in http://digitalenquirer.blogspot.com/2008... it's a part 1 of 2 articles about the tips to speed it up. I'm still working on though.
