I've opened some ports that arnt banned by my isp

I can reach a speed of 7000+ kb/s (download speed of 850ish kB/s)

Limewire has no issue going over 140kB/s

Torrents are all in good shapes with lots of seeds and not too many peers

Running multiple torrents doesnt get me any further...

What am i missing here?

  1. when you want to download a torrent file you have to check how many seed this file has.

how much seeds are more your speed is good and download is fast.

  2. maybe you have set a download limit.

btw after their update i download with lower speeds too.... 140 - 180 but i can run other torrent with the same speed. Before i upgrade to vuze i downloaded 1.5mb/s

  3. You can check out this guide on getting the best download speed in Vuze.   The two keys are forwarding your port and capping your upload:

  4. the internet speed of the other seeders and leechers as that affects your download speed with the certain torrent
