Sustaining the form, the Jimmy Fox trained got entered as the favourite entry in the Calverts Carpets Handicap on 24th January, 2012 at Kempton over six furlongs.
Kieran O'Neill's mount did not break into an early gear, but made some commendable progress during the two upcoming furlongs. He was put under pressure which got him reeling in for the wire winning by almost a negligible margin of just half-length.
Taking refuge in the second position was, Haadeeth.
Losing the winning momentum to a fourth position in the next outing deprived him of a possible hat-trick.
Torres Del Paine won the Steljes 25 Year Celebration Classified Claiming Stakes on 12th September, 2012 at Kempton over six furlongs.
He is backed by 16 to 1 odds for the race today, and will get coupled with jockey, Kieran O’ Neill. The two will take on the challenge from the sixteenth gate.
