http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 has gone on to claim that he wants his team no not take the Club World Cup as a walk in the park, since everyone needs to have the desire to win, in order for the Blues to go home with a trophy.
The team is going to be playing in a semi final game, and a win in that match could see them get pushed all the way to the finals of the competition.
Not many consider the competition to be one, where teams really need to push themselves to win, and the importance of the tournament is also almost always disregarded.
However, with Chelsea failing to be Atletico Madrid earlier in the season, the player is looking to redeem himself, and hopes for the rest of the team to do the same.
"How many people don't take this tournament seriously, or don't think it is like the real World Cup? It is for the clubs," Torres told reporters.

"You ask the South American people. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928 to support, so it is important.”
"In Europe maybe we don't give it as much attention, and to some people it might not mean much, but to me it does, so this is not a holiday or a break, this is a World Cup.”

"It's nice to be involved, and maybe to be able to say you are a world champion. The European Super Cup was just as important to us and we lost, so we don't want that disappointment."
The Spanish striker has only recently gone on to start scoring goals for the team once again, given his new found confidence, the player seems to be determined to make  an impact of the team, for as long as he is with them.
Should Torres go on and start scoring goals for fun once again, Chelsea could easily go on and end up winning the Club World Cup, as they look to add another item to their trophy cabinet.
