Chelsea striker and Spanish international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 has gone on to admit that he will refrain from celebrating, should he score against Atletico Madrid in the European Super Cup.
The striker joined Atletico at a very young age and played for the team, up until 2007, when he made the move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809.
He has never denied his love for his former club and feels that he still respects the team and owes them everything.
He told reporters: "If a goal is scored I will not celebrate it. It couldn't be more special. Their fans know I was one of them. I spent 12 years of my life there."
However, the forward seems to full of confidence and has stated that he might be back to his best, following a rather disappointing spell.
Torres went on to join Chelsea from Liverpool in the January transfer window of 2011, when the Blues bid a massive fifty million pounds for him.
Initially, he failed to settle in at the club and make an impact, but as time has passes, he has slowly become the man to turn to, when the team is in need of some inspiration up front.
He added: "The only thing I know is I don't want to be in this situation again. I don't want to go back. I'm stronger than ever. I've become a better player since coming to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. I do more assists."
The attacker then went on to admit that he never spoke of Chelsea negatively and owes them a lot for signings him.
"I never said bad things about Chelsea. I know they made a big effort to buy me."
With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044 now gone, Chelsea need Torres to step up in every game and prove that he is still a world class talent, who is one of the best in the business at what he does.
It has been a while since the striker’s fans got to see him score goals for fun and as a result, this could be the season when Torres ends up repaying his fans and the club for putting their faith in him.
