Tortoise or TV in my room?

i have a huge decision 2 make here ppl so plz gimme some advice plzplzplzplz.......if so read ON !..

Muy Mum says that for my birthday I can either get a TV in my room with a Sky box and a built in DVD player in da Flatscrren warfedale TV. Or I could get a toroise or 2 called cheese and onion in my room aswell.......PLZ HELP IM STUCK

get a totoise.. surely you have other TVs in your house... and why??

Get the tv,tortoise smell worse than tv and are harder to take care of,and whats more tortoises live for many years so they are a long term commitment.

Get the TV with Sky box and built-in DVD player, etc.  It will keep you much more entertained (by far!) and will also be of great interest to your friends for hanging out in your room, etc.  

The fact that you can't decide definitively that you want a tortoise shows that you may not be completely committed to taking daily care of your tortoise, its cage, and the necessary safety precautions to prevent against a potentially dangerous salmonella infection.  Please see just one article about salmonella infection relating to tortoises/turtles below:

Bottom line:  TV option lots of fun for you and your friends and no work; tortoise much less entertaining and lots of daily work feeding and caring for the tortoise and its enclosure, someone needs to watch it while you're on vacation and this may be difficult to arrange, etc.

I'd take the TV and skip the tortoise for now.  You can always get a tortoise at a later time if you'll still passionate about the idea. I also think the TV will continue to "grow" with you as you get older, while the tortoise might well get "old" after a while.

Personally i would go for the TV. You will, trust me, get bored of your tortoises. And I'm sure you would rather watch TV then hold a tortoise then get weed on by it.

and you would have to clean them out, and your room will smell.

Man tough choices tortouses are so cool but, if I were you I would get the Big Screen TV. That is just my opinion but, choose what u would rather have.

TV, the tortoises will just get annoying after a while, the novelty will wear off where as tv sky and dvd player is insane!

well this really up to you... a tortise take real responisiblity... and to have 2... dang... if your room is upstair then I don't think so... I would rather chose the TV.. and have the tortises some  where else... ok...

tortoises live for a VERY long time, it may even live longer than you. Get a TV.

personally i would want the TV cause its got a sweet set-up but if it wasnt that good tortoises ftw, personally also i love animals
