  1. They are 2 different animal species, I wouldn't.

Chickens can carry diseases and salmonella to, I just don't think its safe and I wouldn't even think of trying it.

Tortoises belong in with other tortoises.

Chickens belong in with other chickens.

  2. No chickens are very aggresive towards other animals, Especially the Rooster.

  3. It  shouldn't be a problem.  We have had rabbits living in the chicken pen in the past.  Neither of them bothered each other.    Also the tortoise loves fresh greens like lettuce and cabbage and slices of melons, and also your chicken will really loves that as well and will help them to lay beter as well.

  4. Also understand that tortoises are notorious for eating the f***s of other animals. If any of the chickens have worms, which is not unusual, the tortoise will then have worms. My Sulcatas live outside and have gotten worms from things they've eaten outside. My backyard is full of wild squirrels and birds, so there's no telling where they've gotten them. I have to treat them for worms occasionally.

  5. chickens

  6. , a tortoise can carry salmonella and putting it in with a bird which can be infected as well would not be good, it may be a slim chance of cross contamination but it is not worth taking the risk, if you have chickens for eggs then the chicken could get it and pass it on to the eggs,  and that really would not be good, also a chickens beak is Sharpe and if that goes in the tortoises eye you have a really injured tortoise which will cost you lots to treat, the tortoise may attack the chicken but i would think the chicken would be too fast for the tortoise to catch, but either way there is so much that can go wrong, but the fact you want to keep a reptile in with a possible food source  (even if you just eat the eggs) would be enough to say it is not worth the risk , keep them separate honey  mixing chickens and tortoises can spread illness that might not effect the host animal but could be passed on to the other birds or tortoise
