Toshi has got the best chances for winning the Watch Live Racing At BetVictor.com Handicap at Ayr in England on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The winner of the class-6 event will be awarded a cash prize of £1,704.
The going will be good to firm in the 1 mile 7 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 16:40 GMT. A total of eight runners have lined up for action at Ayr and their names are as follows: Toshi, Bandanaman, Wind Shuffle, Ballade De La Mer, Vittachi,
Rare Coincidence, Sydney Cove and Nay Secret.
Considering the record of all runners, it seems that Toshi will walk away with a comfortable victory in the race. He has got plenty of experience and is all set to outperform others.
The 10-year-old gelding has participated in 63 races until now, winning eight of them and finishing runner up on seven times. In addition to that, he has also ended up third on five occasions, which shows that he is fully capable of fighting for the
top positions.
Importantly, the Jim Goldie’s trainee has been performing well over the past few events. He has finished in the top five in his previous two outings, which shows the kind of momentum he is carrying right now.
In his previous outing, Toshi did a decent job and finished fifth. He did not get off to an ideal start, but still managed to perform well in the end. If he gets a clear run, he will definitely be one of the top contenders for victory at Ayr.
Toshi will be partnered by Graham Lee in the race today. He does not have a lot of experience, but will be looking forward to a strong run today. He has shown a lot of talent until now, but will need to be consistent in order to gain the confidence
of the punters.
On the other hand, Wind Shuffle will also be a force to reckon at Ayr, as he has got plenty of experience at this level. He has won eight races out of 49 attempts and has been doing a decent job in recent times.
The nine-year-old gelding will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Tony Hamilton, who has got a decent record.
