Hello, I have a toshiba 26lv47 flat screen TV with a built in DVD player. I unplugged it recently and moved it, very carefully, to a different table, and now it won't turn on. The "DISC" light on the front is blinking. I was able to put in a dvd, but now it won't come out. (The orange light was blinking before I put it in though.)

The orange light will blink 3 times, pause for 2 seconds, then blink again.

If you know what is wrong, if there is an easy way to fix it, please tell me!!!

(Please, no answers that say "take it back to the place you got it from." Thats not a real answer, come on, there is no way I would give you "Best Answer" :P)

  1. According to the service manual, three yellow blinks in a row means the tv is rebooting.  It says to wait several seconds for the light to stop blinking.  Im assuming that you have waited several seconds, and it just keeps blinking.  Could be a software glitch, or a board failure.  My best advice is to take it to an authorized service center and have it looked at.

  2. Try unplugging it, then turning it back on. Is it plugged into a power outlet that needs a switch to be on (closed) for the power to come through? Try flipping all the switches in the room or just outside of it, and turn the TV on again.
