Toshiba 3301 desktop copier

Question

i know a jam should be easy to find on such a small and simple deskltop copier but having no success

every time i hit the copy button the slide top will slide all the way to the left and then stop shortly after it reverses itself and starts heading right. The jam light comes on and of course i have to open it up to reset so i can activate copy again. I do nothing to clean any jam as i just dont see any issue but the jam light goes out when i open it and close it back up

I have started a copy with the slide top all the way to the right, all the way to the left and from the middle and it stops thinking perhaps it had to cycle thru and it jams and stops at the same place every time--just dont see any paper stuck up in there

anythoughts since i just dont see any paper caught up in there
