Toshiba Laptop "Enter" and touch pad not...

Question

My 15 month old daughter got a hold to my laptop and pushed some keys :-( I thought that she just cut it off so when I turned it on it boots up and it shows the screen that says SAFE MODE, Start normal, etc...
and tells me to scroll down to pick one. When I attempt to do so, my Enter key nor my touch pad works. It like my keys are stuck! Im wondering did she push a command to "lock" my touchpad/enter key....HELP!! :- #
