I took my laptop apart to clean the fan, and when I put it back together I had no video display. If I connect an external monitor to the laptop, I can see what I don't on the laptop monitor. I tried to use the steps in resolving the Toshiba Black Screen problem (http://www.fixya.com/support/t225857-toshiba_satellite_a135_s2376_black), but Toshiba insists I use the Toshiba Power Management Software, therefore I couldn't follow the steps completely. I have purchased and installed a new video cable (still no change), and tested a new invertor board (plugged cables into it with no success). The monitor does appear to illuminate and the brightness does seem to increase and decrease. Is it possible the monitor went bad when I took the laptop apart?
