Toshiba Satellite M45-S359 Laptop CD/DVD drive...

When I insert a DVD or CD in the drive, it reads it and then immediately ejects. Consequently, I am unable to load anything.What could the problem be and is this something that I could repair myself?Thank you in advance for any suggestions.Don
