Okay so the hd-dvd player (toshiba) that my brother owns has stopped playing the video on dvds that I put in. I was in the middle of a movie, stopped it, watched Phelps win his eighth gold medal and when I went to turn the dvd player back on it won't play video anymore. I've toyed around with the cables and everything is still connected. What do I do? I can't ask my brother because he went back into the army a week ago today and I have no way to get a hold of him for at least another month or two. What do I do?

**Please no complicated answers, there are a ton of cables surrounding the tv; he's got 4 components, x-box, playstation, the tv and a 110 gallon fish tank with all the cords wrapped around each other. It took me an hour just to figure out which cables were connected to the dvd player I'm having troubles with....**
