hello there, here i have a toshiba potege m200 tablet, and it has no floppy or cd drives. I got an external cd drive but from what i found out on internet people say that it does NOT work with every external cd drive.

Anyway all i want to do is to put xp on it, but it gives the following error message;

"NTLDR is missing"

"press ctrl+alt+delete to restart"

I have pressed f12 at the start of the pc to try other boot options and same thing happens on all of them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

  1. The error you describe is caused by the Windows start file(s) being corrupted or lost. Often it indicates a failing drive but a virus etc could have caused this. Your problem is reinstalling windows without a cd drive. It should be possible on your model to alter the start sequence http://www.trilogicuk.co.uk
