Toshiba satellite will not start

Question

Hi, thanks for your help yesterday your solution of removing the battery and trying with the power adaptor worked gine. Does this mean I need a new battery pack? The battery pack is 6600mAh and when showing 100% charge indicates just under 2 hours running time on battery power, thanks again for your help
