Total Expense for Master degree international student need to spend?

Hi everyone in here!

I plan to go to Canada to pursue higher degree in E-commerce or MIS. As a matter of fact, I knew for sure that I not gonna get admission cuz my first degree (4 years bachelors) is in Asia, so i'm going to try to apply for postgraduate diploma first, then next step is master. So my questions are:

1. Is it the right decision to make?

2. If I gonna take that path.. I would like to know for how long it gonna take? How much will it cost (living and tutoin fee)?
