Question:

Totalled my SUV, need help picking out a new used vehicle?

I just recently totalled my vehicle. I am extremely upset about it cause I loved the thing, but I'm now forced to look for a new mode of transportation. I just traded in my Pontiac G6(which I hated) for a GMC ENVOY, three weeks ago. But three weeks after getting the Envoy I rolled it, and totalled it. Therefore, I'm unsure if I'll ever get a top heavy gas guzzling SUV again...

I've decided to pay cash for my next vehicle, and my new budget is $7,000. I'm tired of monthly payments, I want no interest, and want everything taken care of up front.

Besides all of that, What is the most decent(sp) vehicle I can get for $7,000...I prefer room for 4 total people(because i carpool to work and school) and a low amount of miles is always good. I also know that dealers like the smell of cash, and it can usually be a little more of a write off for them....

So....again.

$7,000 cash, I'm looking for a new car, SUV, or truck even. I know 7grand isnt alot, but I'm wanting something reliable and somewhat nice...CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE??

thanks!! :-)

  1. No car payments is nice.

But, right now is the best time to buy a new truck in decades.

GM and Ford have 0% 72 month plans on their trucks, as I'm sure many other brands do.

  2. 2002-03 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable
