Tottemo Vs. Honto Vs. Zettai?

I have trouble with how these are meant to be used. if I am saying

"She is a very nice girl" which would I use?

Can you give me English equivalents?

Tottemo=very

Honto=very

Zettai=Absolutely/very?

  1. As far as I know, Honto is "really".

    And when saying "a very nice girl", you would use tottemo.


  2. Totemo is used before an affirmative verb

    Tottemo is used before a negative verb.

    She is a very nice girl

    Kanojo wa totemo yasashii shoujo desu.

    彼女はとても優しい少女です。

    Hontou is "really." It's used in the sense of verification.

    Zettai is used when you are sure there is no other outcome. Like, it's absolute, 100%.  

  3. Tottemo/totemo -> very

    Hontou -> truly/really

    Zettai -> absolutely

    You use tottemo in that sentence
