Tottenham FC Top Four?

Question

Do you think Spurs can break the top four this upcoming season. What are your opinions?

Are the likes of Modric, Dos Santos, Bentley, Gomes, Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko potentially good signings and can they make the difference???

I don't think so because they are going to lose their best players i hope they can get past arsenal tho

Maybe, but even with good signing sthey will have to bide their time before making such a breakthrough. Maybe 5th, pushing Everton off.

I do agree Modric, Bentley and all upcoming additions are all quality

But with all respect to them, the chance of Spurs breaking into top four is 1 in 100

They will play good this season and will break nto the top four.One of chelsea ,manchester united ,arsenal or liverpool will drop this year.The players tottenham signed are very good players and they wo't regret it.

They're the hardest team to guestimate their performance. It all depends how their new signings take to the premiership.

I'd rate their chances of getting into the top 6 at least.

The only factor that makes me doubt them is their defence, they still didn't sign any quality defenders, yet they bought more midfielders which doesn't make too much sense as they already had a decent midfield! Bentley was a peculiar purchase, basically they spent most of the money from selling Keane on him. Should have spent it on defenders IMO.

I think their new signings will make a difference to their performance next season, However it wont be enough for a top 4 finish.

No chance you guys are breaking the top 4. You'll be lucky to break the top 8. It doesn't matter that you've added all those players because your defense is still a disgrace. Sort that out, then maybe you can talk about the top 8 or 6.

Spurs go through this charade every year. There's a good chance that some of your new imports won't be able to hack it in England. Think of quality players like Veron, Morientes, Schevchenko that couldn't make the grade.

Second even if they do find they can cope there's a lot of them and it will take them about half a dozen games before they can deveop any understanding by which time the usual top four could be our of sight.

Also wasn't Bentley the one who was too tired to play for England? You'll probably find he needs his beauty sleep by February.
